Superior Thermal Stability: Retains hardness (≥45 HRC) even at operating temperatures up to 600°C.
Water Cooling Capability: Unlike many other hot work steels (like standard H13), this grade can be quenched in water during service, making it ideal for extreme thermal shock conditions.
High Toughness: Fine grain structure ensures excellent impact resistance and resistance to crack propagation.

6. Heat Treatment
Annealing: 750-790°C, slow furnace cooling. Hardness: max. 229 HB.
Hardening: 1010-1050°C, air or oil quenching. Achievable hardness: 52-56 HRC.
Tempering: 550-650°C (at least twice). Working hardness: 48-52 HRC.

For hot forged round bar, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed, rough grinded or turned surface.
For hot rolled round bar, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, turned surface.
For hot forged flate, usually the delivery condition is hot forged, annealed, milled surface.
For hot rolled flate, usually the delivery condition is hot rolled, annealed, black surface.
